Early Childhood Development; ECD) Practitioner

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Childhood Development (ECD) Practitioner to join their vibrant learning center in Klerksdorp . This role is dedicated to providing a stimulating and safe environment for young children, focusing on their holistic development – cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through play.

The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to building a strong foundation for children's future academic journeys.

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational activities for young children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and providing feedback to parents.
• Foster social-emotional growth through positive interactions and guidance.
• Promote healthy habits, including hygiene and nutrition.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.

• A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Development (e.g., NQF Level 4 or higher).
• Proven experience working with young children in an ECD setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of child safety regulations and health standards.
