Early Childhood Educator

Our client is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join their vibrant learning center in Nelspruit . This role focuses on providing a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. You will design and implement engaging play-based learning activities, manage classroom dynamics, and build positive relationships with children and their families.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities that stimulate children's development.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and any concerns.
• Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior positively and constructively.
• Organize and participate in special events, excursions, and parent-teacher meetings.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field.
• Proven experience working with young children in a formal educational or care setting.
• A strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Current First Aid certification is highly desirable.
