Senior Chemistry Teacher

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Chemistry Teacher to join a dynamic science faculty in Nelspruit. This role involves delivering engaging and rigorous chemistry education to secondary school students, fostering their understanding of chemical principles and their applications. You will be expected to develop innovative teaching strategies, manage laboratory activities safely and effectively, and mentor junior teachers.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality chemistry lessons to secondary school students, adhering to the national curriculum.

• Provide constructive feedback to students and track their progress throughout the academic year.
• Mentor and support less experienced chemistry teachers within the department.

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science field, coupled with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Chemistry at the secondary level.
• Proven ability to manage a chemistry laboratory safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and assessment strategies.
