Early Years Educator - Preschool

Our client is looking for a dynamic and qualified Early Years Educator to join their dedicated team at a preschool in Klerksdorp . This role focuses on creating an inspiring and play-based learning environment for young children, nurturing their holistic development from curiosity to foundational skills. You will be responsible for planning engaging activities, observing and documenting children's progress, and fostering a warm, inclusive atmosphere.

• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Observe children's development, document their learning journeys, and provide regular feedback to parents.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Promote positive social-emotional development, guiding children in building relationships and managing feelings.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and management to enhance curriculum and school activities.
• Manage daily routines including meals, naps, and hygiene practices.

• Appropriate qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a preschool or nursery setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching young children.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
