The purpose of this role isa committed lecturer in the area of Games development. The post requires competency in every aspect of the qualification’s academic integrity, student support,academic content development, evaluation, moderation, assessment of learning aswell as supporting SAE Institute’s vision and mission.

• Consistently positive & patient with support to students
• Possess outstanding communication, interpersonal skills, administration skills, be highly organized and possess good time management skills.

• Substantial experience in the field ofgames development and design of a minimum of 2 years preferred.
• Classroom management and workshop facilitation skills: A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an academic or training environment preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable about gamestudies and theory
• Must have a solid grounding in C#programming, C++ would be a bonus
• Must have solid experience of the Unity gaming engine.
• Body of work that demonstratescompetency in game development and production.
• Experience in 3D and 2D unity workflows and games asset creation preferred
• Collaborative and willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOD to support students
• Must have rights to live and work in South Africa.
