Early Childhood Educator

Our client is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join their vibrant learning center in Vereeniging . You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where young children can learn, play, and develop holistically. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive and enriching experience for every child.

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for young children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating with parents/guardians regularly.
• Promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being among children.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall development and well-being of each child.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting .
• Deep understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and ensure the safety of all children.
• First Aid certification is a plus.
