University Admissions Counselor

Our client is seeking a motivated and personable University Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students through the admissions process at their campus in Benoni . You will be responsible for recruiting, advising, and supporting students in their journey to higher education, helping them understand program options, application requirements, and financial aid opportunities. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of university programs, and a commitment to assisting students in achieving their academic goals.

You will be an integral part of the admissions team, contributing to the growth and diversity of the student body.

• Recruit prospective students through various channels, including school visits, virtual fairs, and information sessions.
• Advise students and their families on academic programs, admission criteria, and campus life.
• Manage a caseload of prospective students, guiding them through the application process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Conduct interviews and evaluate applications to assess candidate suitability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other referral sources.
• Utilize CRM systems to track student interactions and manage recruitment activities effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  Master's degree is a plus.
• Previous experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, or counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills , with the ability to connect with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other admissions-related technologies.
