• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across all subjects for learners in Grades R to 3.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and exploration.
• Develop and implement creative teaching methodologies that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
• Conduct regular assessments of student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and the school management team on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Organise and supervise age-appropriate educational excursions and activities.
• Promote the holistic development of each child, focusing on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
• Utilise a range of teaching aids and resources, including technology, to enhance learning experiences.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school community events in Tembisa

• A relevant Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or equivalent qualification for Foundation Phase teaching.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience in the Foundational Phase (Grades R-3).
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogical practices.
• Excellent knowledge of the CAPS curriculum for the Foundation Phase.
• Exceptional classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources.
• Demonstrated creativity and enthusiasm in teaching.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
• Must reside in or be able to commute to Tembisa, Gauteng
