To independently operate, maintain, commission, diagnose complex faults and repair control plant equipment in a safe and effective manner to sustain or enhance quality of supply and meet organisational objectives according to Eskom standards, procedures, directives, work practices, guidelines, policies and service agreements.

• Understanding control plant technologies, standards, procedure and philosophies Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS)
• Authorisation on Low Voltage Operating Regulations (LVOR) and Outcome 3 responsible person
• Accredited to level 2/ intermediate for control plant specific maintenance discipline

• Valid code 08 driver’s licence
• Administration

• Maintenance of control plant equipment
• Install and commission control plant equipment
• Diagnose faults and repair control plant equipment
• Perform investigations
• Ensure mentoring and coaching
• Adhere to safety, healthy, environment, quality, and security (SHEQS) requirements.
