About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and safety-conscious Electrical Foreman for a fully remote supervisory role, focusing on power generation projects. In this capacity, you will provide remote oversight and technical guidance to electrical crews working on the construction and maintenance of power generation facilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines through effective communication and coordination with on-site supervisors and project managers.
This position requires a deep understanding of electrical systems in power generation environments and the ability to lead and mentor teams virtually, ensuring all electrical work is performed to the highest standards, regardless of physical location.
- Provide remote supervision and technical direction to electrical crews on power generation projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and project-specific safety plans.
- Monitor work progress, troubleshoot electrical issues, and coordinate solutions with on-site personnel.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide installation and maintenance activities.
- Conduct remote quality control checks and ensure work meets established standards.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between site teams, project managers, and engineering departments.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or Journeyman Electrician in power generation or heavy industrial settings.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting in power plants (e.g., turbines, generators, switch gear).
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and guide teams remotely.
