About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join their innovative team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is essential for managing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various construction and design projects. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, workflows, and templates, ensuring seamless collaboration between disciplines using the model. Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards, protocols, and workflows in accordance with project requirements and company best practices.
- Coordinate and facilitate BIM model collaboration among design teams, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring clash detection and resolution.
- Create and maintain BIM execution plans (BEPs) for various projects.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and processes.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and organize BIM project files and libraries, ensuring efficient data management.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and methodologies, recommending improvements to workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM coordination or management on construction projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed or remote teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BIM software and workflows.
