About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join their remote operations team, contributing to the maintenance and servicing of wind farms across various regions. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of wind turbine equipment. You will be instrumental in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional to advance their career in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector , working independently within a supportive remote structure.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex turbine faults using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with strict safety protocols and company procedures.
- Document maintenance activities, findings, and parts usage accurately.
- Collaborate remotely with engineering and operations support teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Wind Energy Technology, Electrical, Mechanical).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a wind turbine technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures for working at heights and with high-voltage equipment.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to remote work guidelines.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
