About the Role
Our client, a prominent operator of hydroelectric power generation facilities, is seeking an experienced Hydroelectric Plant Superintendent to oversee operations in the Vereeniging, Gauteng area. This senior leadership position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of the hydroelectric plant, including turbine, generator, and dam infrastructure. You will manage operational staff, develop maintenance strategies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimize energy generation output.
This is a significant opportunity to lead a critical piece of South Africa's energy infrastructure and contribute to the provision of stable, renewable power. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in hydropower operations, strong leadership and team management skills, and a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems common to hydroelectric facilities. We are looking for a results-oriented individual dedicated to operational excellence, safety, and environmental stewardship.
