Nviro Tek Laboratories (with branches in Northwest and the Western Cape) is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Unit Head:
Instrumentation. This leadership role oversees personnel and laboratory processes to ensure optimal instrument performance and the delivery of high-quality, internationally compliant data.
- Responsible for the operation, calibration and validation of instruments as well as training and management of Analysts in performing those tasks.
- Responsible for instrument maintenance, optimization and troubleshooting
- Providing technical assistance to staff
- Managing data quality, quality assurance, cost and efficiency.
- Responsible for safety and environmental risks associated with instrumentation.
- Representation with instrument suppliers and providing guidance regarding replacement schedules.
