Job Summary

The Lead Electrical Engineer at Triz Engineering Solutions leads the electrical design function, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused deliverables across commercial vehicle programmes. The role provides technical leadership in automotive electrical systems, including wiring design and controller integration, while overseeing project execution, resource allocation, and team performance.

• Develop and lead a cohesive electrical design team.
• Implement strategies to optimize team performance and collaboration.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to prioritize design resource allocation.
• Ensure efficient utilization of design resources and delegate tasks effectively to engineering personnel.
• Manage project timelines to achieve milestones and promptly address deviations.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to design engineers.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Organize and lead internal design reviews to ensure technical soundness.
• Conduct design reviews with customers and suppliers to validate design integrity.
• Perform CAD design tasks, including 3D modelling and creation of 2D drawings.
• Maintain accurate product data within customer PDM systems.
• Support custom order engineering requests and prioritize design projects.
• Oversee administrative tasks, including performance reviews, mentorship, and training.

• BEng, BSc or BTech Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of post-graduate engineering design experience, preferably in wiring design and controller integration in the automotive electrical design environment.
• Willingness to travel overseas for variable periods depending on needs.
• Demonstrated capability in leveraging AI-enabled engineering and digital tools to strengthen electrical design governance, design review effectiveness, engineering data integrity, resource optimisation, and compliance assurance across complex automotive electrical systems and vehicle programmes.
