Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree specializing in Safety Management, Mining or Engineering is essential
- Computer literacy (MS Office) is essential
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Chief/Safety Officer is essential
- Valid code EB (08) license and own transport
- Experience and knowledge of SHE management systems across the entire spectrum
- Experience and knowledge of health and safety regulatory requirements including application of different permits and permissions
- COMSOC / SAMTRAC / COMPLAT and all other safety-related qualifications essential
- Fair knowledge of CURA / ISOMATRIX Management Systems will be an advantage
- Mine Overseer Certificate considered an advantage
- Valid Medical Certificate or be medically fit to obtain such certificate
