• Matric / Senior Certificate
• B. Tech/BSc Engineering:
  Civil and/or relevant qualification.
• Microsoft Excel – Intermediate level and MS Office package as a whole

• Initially assist with the preparation of comprehensive sales quotations for customers, with the objective of completing these independently by the end of the probationary period.
• Assist with schematic and layout drawings for house designs according to specifications provided by sales representatives to visually represent concepts to clients.
• Specify and measure layout details to ensure all project stakeholders have a clear understanding of the final site layout and reticulation.
• Conduct detailed costing calculations for site reticulation (electricity and water supply) per project, including onsite inspections and measurements as required.
• Prepare cost estimations and structural workings for the sales team regarding steel, panels, concrete, structures, and housing as required.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with salespeople and customers.
• Update and maintain supplier price lists, input costs, and pricing matrix schedules on an ongoing basis to support accurate project costing.
• Calculate landed costs and obtain related pricing for specialized quotes.
• Collaborate with the Projects team to drive cost-saving initiatives, ensuring targeted savings are achieved, and analyse and report on any variances where budgeted costs are not realized.
• Assist the Estimator and Costing Engineer including engineering team with technical and costing calculations for new capex quotations.
• Address other related ad-hoc tasks as required to support the department.
