Role Overview

The Superintendent for Process Optimization will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and process safety. The role focuses on improving chemical analysis control, reducing usage variance, driving continuous improvement, and auditing risk assessments to ensure SHE compliance and eliminate risks.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field
  • A Green Belt in the DMAIC six‑sigma process will be advantageous
Experience
  • 5‑8 years of industrial experience
  • Experience in World Class Manufacturing Tools such as TPM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
Duties Performance & Process Optimization
  • Develop and improve processes and designs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and correct performance deviations
  • Review material usage variance reports and implement corrective actions
  • Identify process deviations, analyze root causes, and take corrective action
  • Ensure reliability of processes and manage costs within budget
  • Provide technical support to production and perform mass and energy balance
  • Develop SOPs, process flow sheets, schematics, P&IDs, and control flow sheets
  • Track and report improvements visually and analytically
  • Train and coach teams from shop floor to management
  • Lead change management from planning to execution
Project & Team Management
  • Engage with Production and relevant stakeholders
  • Manage resources and projects effectively
  • Factor safety risks, maintenance costs, and capital expenses into plans
Quality Assurance
  • Monitor and correct quality deviations
  • Ensure projects meet specified standards and are executed with excellence
Administration & Reporting
  • Write reports, prepare presentations, and create data‑driven graphs
  • Communicate effectively via email, meetings, and digital platforms
