Are you ready to help a leading mining organization overcome its operational challenges in mineral processing? Our client, a well-established player in the mining industry known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence, is seeking a dedicated Regional Sales & Service Engineer to support their expanding regional operations.
This role is pivotal in strengthening client relationships, providing expert technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of mineral processing equipment across mining sites within Gauteng.
What You'll Do:- Conduct daily site visits to mining operations within your designated region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular engagement.
- Provide technical support and expert advice on vibrating mineral processing equipment.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Assess client requirements and recommend suitable spare parts and maintenance solutions.
- Monitor spare stock levels and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Capture and report field test results accurately.
- Coordinate field service activities with Head Office.
- Conduct site inspections and provide engineering recommendations.
- Support installation teams to ensure compliance with client standards and housekeeping requirements.
- Assist with site assessments, maintenance contracts, equipment improvements, and quotation preparation.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and mining safety regulations.
- Min matric (Grade 12).
- Minimum 3 years' experience working on or regularly visiting mining operations.
- Essential knowledge of mineral processing and mining plant operations.
- Good understanding of SHEQ principles and mining health & safety legislation.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and manage time effectively.
- Adaptability to changing environments and tasks.
