Draughtsman​/ Design Engineer

Requirements

• Matric (National Senior Certificate)
• Draughting Certificate Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Advantageous)
• Proficiency in Solid Works with experience in sheet metal design
  .
• Knowledge of furnace systems (Advantageous)
• Strong PC literacy and ability to work with various software tools.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Fleet and SHEQ regulations (Advantageous).

• Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using Solid Works
  .
• Work with sheet metal (up to 10mm thickness) to develop high-quality designs.
• Ensure designs align with fluid dynamics principles for optimal efficiency.
• Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize designs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all design projects.
• Oversee fleet and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) requirements for the company.
