Senior Technical Official (Aurora, West Coast).Task Grade: T07

Area of specialization:
To ensure substation High Voltage Plant availability and safety through inspections and first line maintenance.

Qualification(s):

Grade 12/NCV4/NSC3/N3 and languages/qualification in the relevant
function at NQF 4 with 120 Credits

Experience:

2 years Electrical Plant Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weekly/monthly substation inspections, recordings and/or taking remedial actions.
• Plan & execute HV Plant maintenance tasks
• Perform Environmental inspection and take remedial actions.
• Safety responsibility.

Skills and Competencies

Required:

• Knowledge
• Specific plant knowledge and competencies to perform first line maintenance on batteries, transformers, isolators, breakers, etc.
• Knowledge of tools and specialized equipment
• Knowledge of HV Plant and equipment
• ORHVS modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 7
