• Lead the design and development of automotive mechanical systems, including powertrain, chassis, or thermal management components.
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD, to optimize performance, durability, and safety.
• Manage product development cycles from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure component quality and manufacturability.
• Develop and execute validation test plans, analyze results, and implement necessary design modifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering department in Vereeniging .

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  
  Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design and development.
• Deep understanding of automotive systemsandcomponents.
• Proficiency in advanced CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., CATIA, ANSYS).
• Strongknowledgeof automotive industry standardsandregulations.
