About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Infrastructure Civil Engineer to join their team in Vereeniging. This position is based in the office, focusing on the development and maintenance of essential public infrastructure. You will be involved in projects such as water and sewer networks, roads, and urban development, ensuring they meet community needs and regulatory standards. The role requires a practical engineer with strong technical skills and the ability to manage projects from conception through to completion within the Gauteng region.

• Design and manage infrastructure projects, including water, sanitation, and road networks.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications for municipal infrastructure.
• Oversee the construction and implementation phases of infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site assessments and ensure compliance with project plans and regulations.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including local authorities and contractors.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during project execution and provide technical solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in municipal or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software and basic project management tools.
• Understanding of municipal service delivery standards and regulations in South Africa.
• Strong ability to conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities.
