About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly competent Aircraft Engine Mechanic to join their dedicated maintenance team based in Vereeniging . You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft turbine and piston engines, ensuring peak performance and safety. This role is critical to maintaining the airworthiness of the fleet and upholding the highest standards of aviation safety.

You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to the reliable operation of aircraft and furthering your career in the dynamic field of aviation maintenance in Gauteng .

• Perform scheduled engine inspections, including visual checks, fluid level verification, and performance monitoring.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective repair solutions.
• Conduct engine repairs and overhauls according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble engine components.
• Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities, including parts used, labor time, and test results.

• A certified Aircraft Engine Mechanic with a strong background in jet or piston engine maintenance.
• Proven experience with major engine types and their associated maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in using specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and relevant software.
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics, aerodynamics, and mechanical principles related to aircraft engines.
