Junior Process Engineer

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Process Engineer to join their dedicated team in Klerksdorp. • Assist in the design and development of chemical processes, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot plant tests to gather data and validate process parameters.
• Analyze process data and prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards throughout all process activities.
• Participate in process reviews and contribute to documentation, including P&IDs and operating procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in chemical process engineering, internships, or co-op relevant to the field.
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles, process control, and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
