Senior Completions Engineer

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Completions Engineer to join their asset development team in the Soweto area. This role is essential for designing, planning, and executing well completion strategies that optimize hydrocarbon production and ensure operational integrity. You will work closely with drilling, reservoir, and production engineers to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective well completions. Your expertise in downhole equipment and completion techniques will be vital to maximizing the value of our reservoir assets within the oil and gas industry .

• Design and engineer optimal well completion programs for various reservoir conditions.
• Select appropriate downhole tools, equipment, and completion fluids.
• Develop detailed execution plans and procedures for completion operations.
• Supervise and provide technical support during well completion activities.
• Analyze completion performance data and recommend optimizations for future wells.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and company standards.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in well completions engineering within the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Strong understanding of downhole equipment, artificial lift systems, and formation evaluation techniques.
• Experience with completion design software and simulation tools.
• Proven ability to manage complex completion projects and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
