About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Industrial Engineer to enhance their manufacturing processes at their facility in Benoni . This role is pivotal in optimizing workflow, improving efficiency, and reducing waste throughout the production cycle. The Industrial Engineer will analyze existing operations, design improvements, and implement new systems and technologies to drive productivity and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with production teams, management, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of solutions within the dynamic manufacturing environment of Gauteng .
Key Responsibilities- Analyze production processes, workflows, and layouts to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to optimize productivity and quality.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure successful integration.
- Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to predict and improve operational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies is required for this Benoni
-based role.
