About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive Industrial Engineer dedicated to Operational Excellence to join their team in Nelspruit . This role is crucial for driving improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction across all operational areas. You will analyze current processes, develop and implement solutions using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

- Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement strategies and solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Lead and manage projects focused on operational excellence, ensuring timely completion and measurable results.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and process mapping tools to drive improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes and best practices.
- Monitor operational performance against key metrics and KPIs, reporting findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering or Operations Improvement role.
- Proven expertise in Lean and Six Sigma principles and their application.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience with relevant software packages for process modeling and data analysis.
