Electronics Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Electronics Design Engineer to join their team in Nelspruit . This role is central to the development of innovative electronic products and systems, from conceptualization through to production. You will be involved in all stages of the design lifecycle, including schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and testing. • Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits and systems.
• Create detailed schematics, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts.
• Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production units.
• Troubleshoot electronic hardware issues and identify root causes for defects.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers and mechanical designers to ensure integrated product solutions.
• Stay current with emerging electronic technologies and components.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic hardware design.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
• Strong understanding of component selection, signal integrity, and power management.
• Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
