About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Test and Validation Mechanical Engineer to join their product development team in Nelspruit . • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for mechanical components and systems.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures, equipment, and data acquisition systems.
• Conduct various mechanical tests, including durability, fatigue, vibration, thermal, and performance testing.
• Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and generate detailed test reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot issues and validate design improvements.
• Ensure test activities comply with industry standards and company quality procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical test engineering, validation, or product development.
• Proficiency with testing equipment , instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Experience with test automation and scripting is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex test data.
• Knowledge of various industry testing standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) is desirable.
