Structural Draughtsperson

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Draughtsperson to join their team in Nelspruit . You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed structural drawings and models based on engineer's specifications for a variety of construction projects. This role is crucial in translating design concepts into practical construction documentation, ensuring clarity and precision for fabrication and erection teams. Working within a hybrid model, you will collaborate closely with the engineering department to support project delivery in Mpumalanga , contributing to the visual representation and technical detailing of structural elements.

• Produce detailed structural drawings, plans, sections, and details using CAD software.
• Create 3D models of structural components and assemblies as required.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to engineering standards, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with structural engineers to clarify design intent and resolve drafting issues.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings where required.
• Maintain drawing registers and manage revisions effectively.

• National Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or Draughting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Draughtsperson .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structure, or similar 3D modeling software.
• Understanding of structural steel and reinforced concrete detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
