Land Development Engineer - Gauteng Region

Our client, a respected property development and engineering firm in Benoni , is seeking a skilled Land Development Engineer to manage the civil engineering aspects of new development projects. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of site infrastructure, including earthworks, roads, stormwater drainage, and utility connections. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of land planning, subdivision regulations, and environmental considerations within the Gauteng region.

You will work closely with planning authorities, architects, and construction teams to bring development visions to life, ensuring compliant and sustainable land utilization.

• Design site infrastructure for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
• Prepare site development plans, grading, and drainage designs.
• Coordinate with utility providers for water, sewer, and electrical services.
• Ensure designs comply with local zoning ordinances and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with municipal authorities for plan approvals and permits.
• Oversee construction activities related to site development and earthworks.

• BEng or BSc Eng in Civil Engineering.
• ECSA registration as a Candidate Engineer or Professional Engineer.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in land development engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of stormwater management techniques and hydrologic analysis.
• Strong understanding of South African land use planning and development processes.
