Engineering Manager

Our client is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to oversee the reliability and condition of plant equipment, champion preventative maintenance strategies, and lead a skilled multidisciplinary team.

• Take overall responsibility for ensuring the optimal condition, reliability, and availability of all plant and equipment.

• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

• Investigate recurring failures through root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.

• Lead and manage diverse functions including Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Refrigeration, Building/Plumbing, and Planning.

• Provide strong technical and operational leadership to Maintenance Foremen and the Maintenance Planner.

• Develop and uphold maintenance standards for critical assets, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

• Oversee the maintenance and reliability of electrical infrastructure, refrigeration systems, and critical utilities.

• Manage maintenance-related capital projects, equipment selection, and plant modifications.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, electrical, refrigeration, and engineering standards.

• Control maintenance expenditure and collaborate with suppliers for cost-effective solutions.

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in maintenance management within manufacturing or food and beverage industries.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and reliability-focused mindset.
