Electrical Engineer - Project Management

Our client seeks a seasoned Electrical Engineer with strong project management skills for a key role in their operations based in Benoni . This position involves overseeing electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing project scope, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications.

This role is critical for driving the successful implementation of new electrical infrastructure and system upgrades for our diverse client base.

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop project proposals, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress against these plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential issues effectively to all stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 3 years in a project management capacity.
• Proven experience in managing complex electrical infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
