Graduate Chemical Engineer - Projects

Our client is looking for a bright and motivated Graduate Chemical Engineer to join their dynamic Projects team in Benoni. This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain broad experience in managing and supporting a variety of capital projects within the chemical industry. You will assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects from conception through to completion, contributing to the design, procurement, and installation phases.

• Assist in the development of project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Support project planning activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for project phases.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

• Recent Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Zero to two years of experience in engineering, preferably within a project environment.

• Proficiency in relevant software, including MS Project and AutoCAD (basic knowledge).
