About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to optimize their operations in Nelspruit . This critical role involves analyzing production processes, implementing efficiency improvements, and leading projects that enhance overall productivity and quality. You will work closely with plant management and production teams to identify areas for enhancement and drive the adoption of best practices. Key Responsibilities- Lead the analysis and redesign of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement advanced production scheduling and inventory management systems.
- Oversee the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives across the plant.
- Conduct detailed engineering studies, including capacity planning and bottleneck analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization and project management.
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and project leadership.
- Proficiency in simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at influencing stakeholders in Nelspruit .
