About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Operations Industrial Engineer to join their team in Vereeniging . - Analyze operational data to identify areas for efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.
- Develop and implement optimized work processes, material flow, and facility layouts.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to solve operational challenges.
- Collaborate with operations managers and frontline staff to implement process changes and ensure successful adoption.
- Design and manage pilot programs for new operational strategies and technologies.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting systems to track operational efficiency and progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering , with a strong focus on operations and process improvement.
- Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and simulation software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
