- Perform detailed stress analysis and structural integrity assessments using FEA software.
- Develop and validate finite element models for complex mechanical components and assemblies.
- Analyze simulation results to predict material behavior, deformation, and potential failure modes under various operational loads.
- Collaborate with design engineers to iterate on designs, optimize for strength, stiffness, and weight.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting analysis methods, results, and recommendations.
- Stay current with advancements in FEA techniques, software, and best practices in structural analysis.
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a focus on structural mechanics or FEA.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in stress analysis and FEA, preferably in an industrial or product development setting.
- Proficiency with industry-standard FEA software packages (e.g., ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, NASTRAN).
- Strong theoretical knowledge of solid mechanics, material science, and failure theories.
- Experience in interpreting simulation results and providing actionable design feedback.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Highly competitive salary and performance incentives.
- Opportunity to work on technically challenging and critical engineering projects.
- Access to advanced simulation software and computational resources.
