Senior Civil Engineer - Urban Development

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Civil Engineer to lead urban development projects from their office in Benoni . This role is crucial for shaping the future of communities by managing the design and implementation of essential infrastructure within new and existing urban areas across Gauteng . You will be responsible for a wide range of services including roads, stormwater management, water supply, and sanitation.

• Lead the design and planning of civil infrastructure for urban development projects.
• Manage the integration of roads, water, sewer, and stormwater systems in new developments.
• Conduct site feasibility studies, impact assessments, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering designs, tender documents, and construction supervision plans.
• Coordinate effectively with town planners, architects, environmental consultants, and municipal departments.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on urban development.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design and modeling software.
• In-depth knowledge of land development regulations and municipal planning processes in Gauteng .
• Demonstrated experience in project management and client liaison.
