Junior Chemical Engineer

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Chemical Engineer to join their established team in Vereeniging . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in chemical process operations, design, and optimization. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to daily plant activities, troubleshooting issues, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

This role is based at a key manufacturing facility in Gauteng , providing a solid foundation for a career in chemical engineering within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

• Assist in monitoring and controlling chemical processes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support senior engineers in process troubleshooting, data analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in process hazard analyses and contribute to safety improvement projects.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and process diagrams under supervision.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess equipment condition and operational parameters.
• Engage in learning and development activities to build a strong technical skillset in chemical engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong academic record with a foundational understanding of chemical engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an aptitude for learning new software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for team collaboration in Vereeniging .
