Electrical Engineer

, a proudly South African and world-class manufacturer of wood-based decorative panels and associated products, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team.

In this critical role, you will provide specialist electrical engineering expertise to optimise plant reliability, energy efficiency, safety, and overall operational performance across our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will lead electrical engineering optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives, develop and implement innovative solutions to improve equipment performance, and ensure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

The Electrical Engineer will also provide technical leadership and support for the planning and execution of capital projects, electrical upgrades, automation initiatives, and renewable energy projects. The role will work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement, minimise downtime, optimise energy consumption, and enhance the long-term reliability and sustainability of the plant.
