Water Resources Engineer - Municipal Services

Our client, a leading provider of municipal engineering services, is seeking a dedicated Water Resources Engineer to join their team in

• Perform water quality assessments and develop strategies for water resource management and protection.
• Ensure compliance with national and provincial environmental regulations and water use permits.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and project cost estimates.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and site personnel.
• Liaise with municipal clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies and option analyses for water and wastewater projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering, particularly in municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Proven experience in the design of water treatment plants, distribution systems, and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as EPANET, WaterGEMS, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of water quality standards, environmental regulations, and water management practices in

• Excellent report writing, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams and client liaison.
