Electro-Mechanical Engineer – PLC & Industrial Automation

Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain electrical systems and equipment.

Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.

Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

Assist with the installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment and production lines.

Monitor and improve energy efficiency and electrical performance.

Maintain electrical documentation, drawings, and schematics.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe electrical practices.

Support continuous improvement initiatves.

Provide technical support to maintenance and production.

Trade Qualification (Red Seal) in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Millwright, Industrial Mechanics, or a related field.

Registered with ECSA will be advantageous.

3-5 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of PLC systems and automation.

Experience with electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work under presure.

Attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
