Our client, a key player in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecoms Systems Integrator for their operations in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
. This is an on-site position requiring hands-on expertise in integrating diverse telecommunications systems and ensuring their seamless operation. You will be responsible for the technical design, implementation, and validation of integrated solutions, playing a critical role in delivering robust and reliable services to customers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to manage complex integration projects.

• Design, implement, and manage the integration of various telecommunications systems, including network elements, software platforms, and management systems.
• Develop integration strategies and detailed technical designs, ensuring compatibility and interoperability between different components.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems, identifying and resolving any issues or performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems that arise during the integration process.
• Collaborate with vendors, development teams, and operational staff to ensure successful system integration and deployment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including integration plans, test reports, and system configurations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in telecommunications systems integration.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in telecommunications systems integration or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications protocols, network architectures, and relevant hardware/software components.
• Hands-on experience with integration platforms, APIs, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Familiarity with both circuit-switched and packet-switched network technologies.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks is beneficial.
