• Design, program, and commission robotic work cells and automated manufacturing systems.
• Develop PLC code and HMI interfaces for integrated automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with robotic systems, PLCs, and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, production, maintenance) to define automation requirements and implement solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new automation projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and programming code.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation, robotics, and control systems technology.
• Provide technical training and support to maintenance and operations personnel.
• Optimize existing automated systems for improved performance, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Ensure all automation projects comply with safety standards and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation and robotics.
• Proficiency in programming major robot brands (e.g., KUKA, ABB, FANUC) and associated simulation software.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
• Experience with industrial networks (e.g., Profinet, Ether Net/IP) and control system integration.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a meticulous approach to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience in the mining or heavy manufacturing sectors is a plus.
