Senior Telecoms Network Planner

Our client, a leader in the telecommunications infrastructure space, is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Telecoms Network Planner to join their team in Benoni, Gauteng . This role is fundamental to the future growth and efficiency of our client's network. You will be responsible for long-term capacity planning, network expansion strategies, and the design of robust, scalable telecommunications networks. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in network planning methodologies, technology assessment, and forecasting future demand.

You will work closely with engineering, operations, and business development teams to ensure network plans align with strategic objectives and market opportunities. • Analyze network traffic trends and forecast future capacity requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications network planning and design.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile (4G, 5G) and fixed-line network architectures.
• Proficiency in network planning tools and simulation software.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and forecasting.
• Experience in developing financial models and business cases for network investments.
• Excellent understanding of telecommunications market dynamics and future technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working within the Gauteng province is preferred.
