Process Engineer - Mining Equipment

• Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Design and implement new production processes and workflows for mining equipment.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including flow charts, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot tests for new process technologies.
• Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and report on trends.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within heavy manufacturing or mining equipment.
• Proven experience in process analysis, optimization, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including CNC machining, welding, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in Rustenburg, North West .
