About the Role
Our client, a leading innovator in the Arts & Entertainment sector, specifically within the gaming industry, is seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join their team in Klerksdorp. This critical role will shape the user experience and interface design for our exciting new game titles, ensuring intuitive navigation, engaging gameplay, and visually stunning interfaces. You will collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and product managers to translate complex game mechanics and user needs into seamless and enjoyable player experiences.

- Design intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for mobile and console games.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze player feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on existing features.
- Collaborate closely with game designers and developers to ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and align with gameplay objectives.
- Develop and maintain design style guides, UI kits, and asset libraries to ensure consistency across game titles.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the entire game development lifecycle, advocating for the player experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a significant focus on game design or interactive entertainment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI/UX design skills for games, including wire framing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Deep understanding of user psychology, interaction design principles, and the gaming market.
