An exclusive private game reserve in Kwa Zulu-Natal is looking for a freelance CHINESE-SPEAKING FIELD GUIDE to fill a 2-day stint in Mid-September. This specialised assignment includes hosting and facilitating game drives for VIP guests. The successful candidate will need to combine strong guiding expertise with fluent Mandarin or Cantonese communication skills, ensuring the guests have a seamless, culturally attuned safari experience across the Big Five reserve.
CoreCriteria:
- Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, with strong English guiding ability
- FGASA qualification
- Valid PrDP
- Proven experience hosting VIP or high-end international guests beneficial
- Sound knowledge of the Big Five and general bush ecology
- Excellent interpersonal and hosting skills, comfortable representing a five-star operation
- Host and lead game drives for VIP guests over the 17th and 18th of September
- Interpret and translate wildlife, ecological, and cultural information for Chinese-speaking guests
- Ensure guest safety and comfort throughout all bush drives
- Deliver a polished, high-end guiding experience in line with the property's standards
