About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Operations Manager to oversee the successful execution of a variety of sporting events in Benoni. This role demands meticulous planning, precise coordination, and the ability to manage complex logistics to ensure seamless and memorable events for participants and spectators alike. You will be responsible for all operational aspects, from venue setup and staffing to safety management and post-event wrap-up, ensuring each event meets the highest standards of excellence.

• Plan, budget, and execute all operational aspects of assigned sporting events.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, setup, breakdown, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and security teams to ensure smooth event operations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive event safety and emergency management plans.
• Supervise on-site event staff, volunteers, and temporary personnel.
• Oversee ticketing, registration, and spectator services to ensure a positive attendee experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event operations, specifically within the sports industry.
